Each year, 3M Scott Fire & Safety supports many memorial stair climbs across the country focused on honoring first responders who were lost on September 11, 2001. In addition to raising funds to support first responders, the 3M Scott team sends volunteers and equipment that help make these events possible.

For 2018, you’ll find 3M Scott volunteers and equipment at the following stair climb events:

Chattanooga 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb – August 25, 2018
Each participant at the Chattanooga stair climb pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. 3M Scott provides each participant an SCBA for the event.

Charlotte 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb – September 8, 2018
The Charlotte event, which takes place at the Duke Energy building, raises money for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF). 3M Scott will offer support by providing Air-Pak SCBA for participants, as well as sending volunteers to help with the effort.

San Francisco First Responders Stair Climb – September 8, 2018
This annual event is hosted by National First Responders Fund and was created to raise awareness and support to first responders suffering from post-traumatic stress, mental health, and other job-related injuries. 3M Scott provides SCBA and volunteers for the event.

Nashville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb – September 9, 2018
The 9th annual Nashville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb honors the 343 FDNY firefighters killed on 9/11/01. The event also aims to reinforce community safety by highlighting physical fitness and training. 3M Scott provides SCBA and volunteers for the event.
