Gas Detection Tubes
Scott are able offer (with some geographical limitations) the most widely applied and economic method of determining levels of toxic gases in the atmosphere. With over 250 tubes for specific gases, able to determine concentrations of over 300 different gases, using the length of colour stain method which involves no free chemicals. Easy to use and with well-defined colour boundaries, the Kitagawa system provides a higher than expected degree of accuracy which exceeds the requirements of the most recent European standards. Scott offers a wide range of accessories, which allow determination of impurities in breathing air, cylinders and pipelines.
- Wide range of tubes, the majority available from stock, employing “dry” chemistry.
- Glass tubes, containing uniformly packed reagent have a clearly etched, direct measurement scale.
- Samples are drawn via an accurate manual piston pump with most determinations made with a single stroke.
